Winter Science Wonderland Workshops

Families are invited you to a special series of workshops–all about the WONDER of winter.
You and your child are invited to participate in hands-on that explore wintertime phenomena. And after, everyone can explore the spectacular displays as part of Roberson’s Home for the Holidays celebration.
All materials will be provided, and safety measures will be in place to ensure a healthy and fun visit.
11:30 AM – 12:30PM – Ice Age Exploration: Learn about how scientists uncovered preserved and fossilized specimens from the ice age. Together we’ll perform our own ice excavations and make a fossil.
1:30 – 2:30PM – Cool Chemistry: Where did all the heat go?: Conduct chemistry experiments exploring the principles of heat transfer. Together we’ll perform Endothermic/Exothermic reactions lab and build a Snow Volcano.
