Winter Science Wonderland Workshops

Families are invited you to a special series of workshops–all about the WONDER of winter.
You and your child are invited to participate in hands-on that explore wintertime phenomena. And after, everyone can explore the spectacular displays as part of Roberson’s Home for the Holidays celebration.
All materials will be provided, and safety measures will be in place to ensure a healthy and fun visit.
11:30 AM – 12:30PM – Snow Day Science: Learn about animal adaptations in Winter. Together we’ll create a winter storm in a jar and use chromatography to make a colorful snowflake decoration.
1:30 – 2:30PM – Tis the Season Engineering Challenges: How are buildings and bridges made to support the weight of snow in the winter? Together we’ll do the strongest bridge build challenge and engineer a mini snowball catapult.
