Virtual: Why Trees? Origins of Holiday Traditions

December 16, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm

Trees weren’t always an icon of the Holiday season, quite the opposite. Before the turn of the 20th Century, they were the center of some controversy. So, how did trees become a beloved staple for so many people in America?

We’re diving into this and other holiday histories, mysteries, and origins in this online talk over Zoom.

Cost: $6 for general; free for Roberson Members.
The presentation will last 30 – 45 minutes.
