Blast Off to Space Day

Let’s explore the stars on May 4 (May the 4th be with you)! Experience the wonders of space through a space station, planetarium shows about where we’ve been and where we’re going, space-themed crafts, and more.
-Build straw rockets outdoors and see how far they can fly
-Planetarium shows running all afternoon
-Make pinhole cameras to make solar observations
-Construct origami space shuttles
-Play with K’Nex Constellations
-Sit down for one or all the shorts featured in NASA’s film festival (1:00PM – 2:30PM & 2:30 – 4:00PM)

Admission is $8 for adults; $6 for students/seniors/military; free for kids 4 and under. Members are free. Community members are also welcome to take advantage of Roberson’s Pay It Forward program and get into this event at no charge.
