Polaris: The Star That Doesn’t Move?

Join us for Polaris: The Star That Doesn’t Move?, a new show premiering in our planetarium this weekend. 

Several Native American cultures, including this area’s Haudenosaunee, referred to Polaris as the star that does not move. Explore why this is an accurate description of Polaris, and why there will come a time when it will no longer be true.

Length: 30 minutes, includes a tour of the night sky
