An adventurous way for you to escape the heat this summer is to attend one of our digital planetarium shows right here at Roberson! The only digital planetarium in the Southern Tier, it’s a great way for you to discover new advances in astronomy, cosmology, and flight! Recline in the cool and comfort of our 50-seat theater and relax as you become immersed in each and every show.

In Mission to Mars you’ll be taken through the 53 year history of the unmanned exploration of Mars and what each mission has discovered. How does our atmosphere and magnetic field protect life on Earth from the Sun’s impact? You’ll find out in Solar Quest , which is followed by a 15 minute tour of our night sky. Our newest planetarium show, Journey to the Center of the Milky Way Galaxy, explains how astronomers have come to understand the nature of our home galaxy and its place in the universe.

Starting July 5th, we are adding additional show times! These include public showings at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Our usual schedule of Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday shows will remain the same.
