Become an investigator as you create electricity, make things explode, test out density levels of various objects, grow your own rock candy, and view the digital planetarium show Asteroid Mission Extreme
Tuesday, April 18 – Art in Nature*
How does art inspire activism? In conjunction with our newest exhibit, Nature’s Best Photography, you will encounter the captivating images that will help you discover the significance of conservatism as you explore some of nature’s most beloved and feared creatures. (*Please bring a form of a camera whether it be digital, phone, tablet or iPod.)
Wednesday, April 19 Space Explorers
Step into the world of astronomy as you design your own geoboard constellations, construct your own bubble-powered rocket, create an edible comet and enjoy the digital planetarium show Mission to Mars.
Thursday, April 20 A Theatre of Things
Calling all actors and actresses! Today consists of exploring cultures around the world through storytelling. You will utilize the objects displayed in the exhibit. A Theatre of Things, to create your own play or short story. Through shared experiences across cultures, you will discover the significance of traditions and oral history.
Friday, April 21 CSI Friday
The museum has been robbed! Campers will utilize their detective skills as they explore various aspects of critical thinking, analyze fingerprints and create their own clue hunt to determine who the burglar is.
