Roberson Museum and Science Center’s week-long STEAM Spring Break Camps are a place where kids are encouraged to use divergent thinking to create, solve, and question the world around them. Join us for a day or the entire week.
Dive into a new field of exploration: science, history, ecology, space, and art. Led by a team of experienced, accredited, and talented educators.
Limit 15 kids per camp for best learning experience.

Monday, April 15 – Friday, April 19

Extended before and after camp care available
Price (Currently 10% off until March 31)
Single Day: $32 for Roberson members; $40 for non-members
Entire Week: $155 for Roberson members; $193 for non-members
We offer extended before (8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.) and after camp care (3:00 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.) for a nominal fee of $6 per day or $25 for the week.
Spring Into Science
Monday, April 15
How do leaves breathe? Why do tornadoes rotate? Find out today, in this camp where you can explore the unique characteristics of all things spring! Campers will participate in various STEM activities include making a rain gauge and experimenting with rainbows. Registration closes April 20.
Hop into History
Tuesday, April 16
Campers will travel through time to discover what’s lurking in our past. Your child will participate in hands-on activities related to the rich history of our area. They will learn to communicate using Morse code, create a Native American pinch pot, and much more! Registration closes April 20.
Wednesday, April 17
Spend the day learning all about animals. Use our two exhibits, NatureTrek and Nature’s Best Photography to explore wildlife and their habitats. Campers will participate in animal yoga, use origami to create their favorite animal, and much more! Registration closes April 20.
Space is the Place
Thursday, April 18
Come spend the day at Roberson and see why we think space is the place! Your child will get to experience a behind the scenes look at how our planetarium works as well as some fun space engineering activities! We will make a comet out of ice cream, create a stained glass planet, and more! Registration closes April 20.
Art in Focus
Friday, April 19
Use the galleries at Roberson as inspiration for your own pieces of art. Campers will explore painting, photography, and sculpture through the exhibits we offer at the museum. They will be able to make a pinhole camera to take home and use their favorite animal as inspiration for a sculpture. Registration closes April 20.

Offered every Winter, Spring, and Summer, Roberson’s Break Camps give kids a way to explore and engage in a number of fields–all led by a team of experienced, accredited, and talented educators. Kids have the opportunity to dive into a topic with educators who will foster their passion for storytelling, ecology, sci-fi film, wildlife, and much more.
Summer Camps will run after the last day of school in July until the end of August. Registration available now.
