Roberson Museum and Science Center will host its 4th Annual Halloween Spook-Tacular Friday, October 29 from 6 – 8:30pm.  The evening includes Haunted Mansion tours every half-hour and other ghostly fun for all ages.

In addition to the Haunted Mansion tours, Roberson’s Halloween Spook-Tacular allows visitors to experience close encounters with living insects, participate in mask making activities and enjoy Halloween treats.

4th Annual Halloween Spook-Tacular

Friday, October 29 from 6-8:30pm

FREE with general admission

Roberson Museum and Science Center – 30 Front Street, Binghamton

During the Halloween Spook-Tacular Roberson encourages guests to enter the front door of the mansion on Front Street, which will be fittingly decorated for the occasion.

About the creature encounters:

The Binghamton University Institutional Research Board is providing a family “close encounter” exhibit so guests can get up close to living insects.

They’ll be doing educational research that observes the actions of visitors while they interact with specimens including moths, caterpillars and more.  Come join the fun and you’ll draw, observe, touch and talk about the insects and learn that while different from us, insects aren’t always so scary.

Support provided by the general operations support grants from the United Cultural Fund, a program of the Broome County Arts Council; the Conrad and Virginia Klee Foundation; the Zoos, Botanical Gardens and Aquariums Program, administered by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreational, and Historical Preservation; and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
