Genealogy Workshop

Join us at this workshop were we will present tips and strategies to begin the process of constructing your family tree. We will study basic genealogy terms and tools, as well as describe the various records and sources available for finding information!

We will focus on using internet resources to study family history and conduct genealogy research. Both free and fee based resources will be explored including websites such as Ancestry and FamilySearch. The workshop will cover a wide range of tools and techniques to begin your ancestry research. Many different documents will be discussed including census documents, passenger lists, military and naturalization documents.

Introduction to Lightroom

Adobe Lightroom is a powerful tool for any photographer. In this introductory class, you will learn the basics of Lightroom operation including topics like organizing your photos, basic corrections, cropping and effects, printing, and exporting your photos. This 60-90 minute class is for beginners to Lightroom.
