In 2010, Roberson Museum and Science Center began an important process with regard to Collections Management. Following Museum Best Practices, the tens of thousands of objects entrusted to Roberson’s care were inventoried and documented. Every item in Roberson’s Collections was digitally catalogued on the software, Past Perfect, which enables our museum professionals and visiting scholars ready access to these collections.

The exhibition, “Treasures of the Vault” celebrates Roberson’s diverse and abundant holdings; the donors who gave them; and the exceptional strides made by our staff to make our collections accessible.
