Roberson is a proud Path Through History participant, being highlighted as an historically and culturally significant site featuring events that showcase the history or our region and of New York State. We will be participating in Path Through History Weekends June 7-8 and June 14-15.

1st Floor:
Visitor Center and Triple Cities Gallery
Learn about our area’s Native People through a variety of artifacts. Get creative with traditional Native American inspired crafts including dream catchers, rock art, and weaving.
Carousel Theater
From the opening of the Chenango Canal in 1837 onwards our local Susquehanna Heritage Area has been colored with innovative thinkers and a diversity of cultures. Today’s showing is Voices, a short film which showcases the stories of the local people from the Binghamton, Johnson City and Endicott region.
2nd Floor:
The Workshop
Where History and Science meet! In connection with our Journey from Our Prehistoric Past exhibition, we will be offering special hands-on activities that focus on identifying minerals, rocks, and fossils. Don’t miss Fossil Making Demos (1:00PM – 4:00PM every 30 minutes, last show starts at 4:00PM).
Roberson Mansion starts in the Breakfast Room
Tours of the Historic Roberson Mansion tours will be given by local presenter, Susan Stevens, who will be portraying Mrs. Margaret Roberson on Sundays (June 8 and 15 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM every hour, last show starts at 4:00 PM).
Sears Harkness Hall
The Civil War exhibition celebrates our regional heroes and looks at life in our area during the Civil War. Individual photographic portraits became immensely popular in the United States during the Civil War Era. Be sure to visit our artifact table and check out various Civil War-themed props for you and your friends to take photos with.
