NatureTrek

Welcome to NatureTrek, an exploration and celebration of the natural world that surrounds us.

Anchored by over 150 mounted specimens from Roberson’s Lee J. Loomis collection, NatureTrek invites you to walk through the established deciduous and transitional forests, wetlands, meadow, and backyard habitats that abound in our region. On your journey, you’ll meet dozens of mammals and birds that occupy these ecological niches. Having made their acquaintance, you’ll learn where you can see them in nature preserves close to your home, and what you can do to assure that they, and the places they live, continue to prosper.
