With the help of Christine Lantz from WSKG, Roberson has been able to document the progress of a major project to TRIPLE the size of our Model Train Layout. It has involved over a year’s worth of VOLUNTEER work — 2,200+ hours, and generous contributions from local individuals and business sponsors. Take a look at some clips from WSKG’s “Making Tracks” footage and meet some of the volunteers and see the transformation and detail involved!

Roberson’s exhibition designers and Education staff, together with our volunteer Binghamton Model Railroad Engineers (BMRE), have developed a spectacular design for an even more impressive Expanded Model Train Layout.
OVER 2,500 VOLUNTEER hours have been put in since March of 2011 to design, construct, detail and expand our ever popular train display.
