Explore the history and wonder
their connections in stories, and art,
and even paleontology. Enjoy a viewing of our
newest Planetarium show Dragons:Real Myths and
Unreal Creatures and much more.

Science of Winter
Ever wonder why your boogers freeze, or why your tongue can get stuck to a pole? Do bubbles really shatter when you blow them in the winter? Come learn the science behind all of the these winter phenomenons. Create your own frost, snowflakes and learn about the water cycle. In the afternoon, explore the outdoors and learn about wildlife and how they adapt during the winter season. Create a bird feeder, participate in pine-cone science experiments and build an arctic animal den.
Wednesday, December 30
Winter Tinkers
Spend the day designing simple machines, creating new inventions
and musical instruments. Learn about inventions that changed the world. Create projects using recyclable, upcycled and natural materials.
